go to more doctors for more opinions. I (15 yrs old) have been been told by many doctors I have not had ADHD for years...others took 1 look at me, asked me a few questions, then said hes got ADHD. My mom finally got some well known psychiatrists or whatever and had them all evaluate me. Turns out i had ADHD all along. sometimes a 2nd opinion helps.

What are your symptoms? Difficulty concentrating could be from anger in bipolar disorder, lethargy and sadness in depression, loss of concentration due to seizures, anxiety from life events or anxiety disorder, thyroid problems, learning disabilities, obsessive-compulsive disorder, etc.

If your doctor didn't assess you adequately, tell him the symptoms you're having that make you think it's not ADHD. Or seek a second opinion. Internet diagnoses are worth exactly what you pay for them.

You sound precisely like me! It surely seems such as you have ADHD and an tension illness. You seem to have emotional matters too yet you're able to desire to get a suitable diagnosis and spot a physician or therapist.

You may need to see a psychiatrist. I'm not saying that you are crazy, but they can help to diagnose other things instead of stereo-typing you as ADHD. Good Luck.
