i saw this guy and wanna make friends with him by passing him a note with my number on it but there are too..far too many what ifs going around in my head..like what if he refuses to take that note from me? what if he's not going to get back to me? my sis and her husband are the only ones who knows this..and if that guy choose not to get back to me..i'm gonna be so embarrassed and my sis and her husband will say things like "i told u so..you're losing your face now" or maybe something like "you're a girl! you don't have to stoop so low when there are other guys out there!" what am i gonna do? i'm so curious about that guy and i really wanna be his friend..my friends are supportive but my sis ain't..she doesn't encourage me to do so..

I don't think you should just give him your number without him knowing anything about you first. Instead, go up and talk to him and introduce yourself. Extend your hand to him (guys like that) and be like, "Hi, my name is Victoria, I've seen you once or twice around before, but I don't know your name," and I'm sure he'll then tell you his name. Chat with him for a little while, and make sure you smile a lot and give eye contact. Then, whip out your phone number, and then ask for his. By this point he will have been so wooed by your politeness and courage that he probably won't turn down either your phone number or your request for his.

If you are prepared for a little rejection....try it! You have a sense of adventure, your sister doesn't! You have supportive friends who will back you either way it turns out. You may have alot to gain.
I did it once and it really worked out. He was a little shy and was really glad that I passed the first note.
You never know until you try!

Why not show your interest by engaging him in a conversation, that you know will keep his interest for a while. If he develops an interest in you, he may well want to keep in touch and ask YOU for your phone number. If so - great! If not then you just had an interesting conversation with someone and did not lose face...

Whatever happened to talking to the guy in person. Just tell him to his face how you feel. Really whats the worst that could happen, and who really has to know.

So who is it you're trying to convince? You sister or the guy? Get real. Ignore your sister and give the guy your number. If he calls, fine. If not, that's fine too....at least you won't wonder what would have happened if..........
