i like this guy as a friend but he likes me moreo than that and i dont know what to do because i dont want to hurt him what should i do?

I know EXACTLY what you're going through.
Number one thing? Do not make up any lame excuse.
It'll just make you seem horrible and a coward.
He'll get hurt one way or another.
It's better to do it sooner than later.
You have to talk to him, person-to-person, and tell him. Don't beat around the bush. Tell him in a kind manner that you just want to be friends. When I told my guy friend that all I wanted was his friendship and nothing more, he was hurt, but we still stayed friends til today. If he really treasures his relationship with you, then he wouldn't be mad -- but understanding.
