Because they know the real Mexico... (the stereotype is so ridiculous and unfair)

My Dad moved there after he retired and he absolutly loves it !!!

Ironically, my roommate has got the wrong idea about Mexico so badly that I can't even take him there... shame.

I take small vacations there, visiting family and surfing trips... a day on vacation there is worth a week on vacation here.

First of all these people that are moving there won't be living off your goverment as those that come to America. Their not sneaking over the boarder and they already have money to live on.That don't need to live off your goverment as you do here. They have insurance and one SSN. So whats your point. No one said Mexico was bad, just the ones that come to this country and live off the American Goverment and then complain their not getting enough or everything is unfair to them. When they all went on strike they just knew that it would hurt the Americans but guess what , it didn't, we're still here and still going stronge. Stop your wipering and get over it. There are so many other people from other countries here and their trying to make their living the honest way and going about it the right way, why should Mexicans get a break when no one else does?

Its not horrible if you have a pretty good income.A lot of retired people on Social Security that don't have enough to live good on here in the US have found that they can lead a great life in Mexico on the same income.Everything is cheaper and they can also buy their medications so much cheaper than here in the US.
They seem to be treated well by the locals and some love it there .If a couple together draw say $1000. a month, they are very poor by US standards but in Mexico they are well off.

San Francisco is a sanctuary city and liberal to the extreme,I used to live there I know, any thing the paper says is suspect to be liberal BS.

About ten years ago American title companies begin insuring land purchases. Americans could buy with confidence knowing that the title received was legitimate.
In city after city throughtout Mexico today you see a housing boom that has never before been present in Mexico. The quailty of work is to American standards using mostly Mexican construction material. I toured their models and I had to pinch myself sayng, "Your really are in Mexico and not in the United States!" Their prices are less than here, but they are high for Mexico I believe they charge what the market will bear!.
I saw thousands of Mexicans building beautiful homes, speaking English, and providing a grand array of services.
Whoever says that Mexico could not not do that eveywhere has never seen the movie, "Ghandi". If one man could change an entire nation, then surely Mexico could easily change with the 100,000 college grads of universities every year who possess the know-how and could dream of a great national plan to BUILD MEXICO!
And don't tell me that they can't...because they CAN! They only lack the will! Power to the Mexican People!

Mexico is a wondeful country but like all countries you need money to live..Things for gringos are cheap there and people that would retire here on the modest money they have can live decently in Mexico for about a third the cost..same with the Philippines.. But the Mexican people never had the Gringo's chance to make a honest days pay for honest days work.so they struggle to survive in a world where everything is bought and paid for..

Because all the damned Mexicans are moving here. It's just an even swap. And, think of how cheap things are in Mexico - American dollars go a long way down there.

They have money and intrests there. They don't have to adhere to the employment laws or Equal employment opportunity. They can treat them like slaves and the Mexican government will help keep them in check, guaranteeing no lawsuits for sexual harrassment, racial discrimination. These are the same ones that took good paying jobs and sent them to Mexico and other places around the world. Mind you they have dual citizenship and the American one should be revoked...One other thing, old crusty child molesters can go there and have sex with under age girls and boys as sex slaves.....Good riddance to them and I hope they never come back.

Oh, stop that. Mexico is not horrible. I think it is the Retired "gringos" who are moving there for the sunshine, and because they can make their money last longer.

Might be a good idea to get some beachfront so that when the wretched place falls to the US and becomes a stste you are ahead of the game
