No. Wasps were created before the human (adamah). Only the human bears the Breath or Spirit (same word in Hebrew) of life.

Of course. The word 'soul' is used to refer to the abstract, immaterial sense of self. Wasps are able to differentiate themselves from their evironment. In my book, that counts as a soul. Besides that, Solomon mentions the fact that animals have spirits...

Any and all animate form of life are powered by their brain, which is a series of synapses that route motor activity, balance, sight, smell, taste, judgment, anger etc...
