I am not sure what you are referring to.I know off hand of a scripture where David is advising Solomon , before David dies on how to live before God, where he says among other things, that if you forsake God , God will forsake you.
If that is it it can be found at 2 Chronicles 15:2
There are other scripture verse that relate in some way to that idea but I cannot think of one that speaks exactly as you say, turning back.
I notice many people, icluding self procliamed Christians will often contradict the bible in order to believe their doctrines about Gods love or other issue. The scipture above proves that God will forsake some if they forsake him. And yes there is a verse which says God will never leave you or forsake you, but this is a qualified statment which needs to be interpreted in the light of all the other scripture , not in isolation. So please with all the love doctrine based on the tradition of men or should I say humansim.
God loves but he also hates.God is merciful but he is also severe.Praise His Name.
But if you return to him he will return to you, remember the prodigal son.

It is actually contradictory of the Bible to state such a thing.
When God abandons one, when one exists without the presence of God, what one experiences is Hell. Hell is existence sans God. THAT is what Christ experienced on the Cross. "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" - a quote from Psalms and from His own mouth as he died.
The suffering of His child, seeing someone he loved so dearly being crucified, being tormented to an extent we can only begin to fathom... you cannot love someone so much and watch him suffer like that, even if it is what he wants. And so, God turned away and before he died on the cross Christ experienced Hell...
Which was, as you can imagine, the entire point. Jesus Christ the Messiah took unto himself the punishment we merrited and deserved. He suffered, bled, died, and suffered the ultimate afliction of knowing existence devoid of God, so that we wouldn't have to.
God turning his back on you... not according to my religion, my friend.

The Bible never states that God will turn his back on his beloved children. On the contrary, it says countless times that he will never forsake them, and that he loves them with a love that is beyond comprehension.

31And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
Uneless you mean the above,
ithe Bible doesn't.

Its either Hosea 4 of Jeremiah 2. But it says that because you rejected me I shall reject you. (Or it basically says that).
What it actually means is that those who reject God are on their own because they refuse his help and he will not overrule their free will choice.
And by the way, Michael is an ARCH angel. (Arch meaning Chief). Also Michael (Mik'hael) means 'Who is as God?' and is a battle cry.
