Sounds like good, moral, responsible common sense which is lacking in the practitioners of a thousand different religions. But I'll stab a guess and say it comes from the Torah, so Judaism.

Xians believe in a good universe with a tiny bit of bad in it.
Buddhists believe in a bad universe with a tiny bit of good in it.
