No that is not weird times has changed and many people find love on the Internet because the Internet is a new way of dating and meeting people. In your case it is just a different way of loving someone in a sense you never physically met him. You guys connected on a different level which is quite obvious on a emotional and mental level. You have grown to love him on a basis of conversation rather then looks. As you get to know him through conversation and you really love him I say you make it a reality. In a relationship emotional, mental, and the physical aspects play a major role in a successful relationship. As far as the physical I mean having there presence there is important. That's not weird. It is weird if you love them and never attend to meet them. Wouldn't you want someone you love near enough at arms reach.

Watch out for this trap!

Been there, done that!
Love online is love with a broadband connection, an airwave, a bunch of electronic signals zooming through thin air.

It seems quite possible. It can be a dream come true. Pictures are exchanged.... phone calls made.....
and still dreams can turn into horrible disappointments.

The middle aged pretend to be much younger. Young people can mess with you and act older. People can forward anyone's photo. Married people flirt with single people.

I recommend that everyone keep the emotions in check and give the "relationship" plenty of time and reality.

Good Luck!

That is not weird. I have fallen deeply in love with a person on the net I have never met. She knows I love her and she loves me just the same but we are miles apart and married to other people. We know we will never be together, but it doesn't change the fact that we were made to be with each other. Sometimes life sucks that way.

No. If you two can't act upon it, whether by moral or social taboos, if you will, make sure it doesn't get to the point of obsession.

But if you can and there is nothing hindering either of you, why not meet?
