You can not cure a sunburn like you can an infection. A sunburn is considered a 1st degree burn. What helps is drinking plenty of fluids and using an aloe vera lotion. You can buy a bottle of it pretty cheap at a drug store, keep it in your refridgerator and it will help cool you down even more the next time you need it. Wearing clean, loose, and soft cotton clothes will also help from the irritation depending on where the burn is. Next time using sunblock with an SPF of 15 or higher will prevent a sunburn. If your not careful too much sun exposure can lead to skin cancer, which is something that is a lot more serious than a minor irritation. Good luck and God bless!

I go to Mexico or Jamacia every year, so I know the perfect way to treat sunburn!

You will need:
Several ice cubes (ICE, not cold water)
Aloe Vera Gel
Another person (if sunburn is on hard to reach place like your back or the back of your legs)
Soft (needs to be soft but absorbent) towel

And remember to drink a little bit more than 8 glasses of water a day, getting dehydrating won't help the sunburn one bit!

Now take the ice cube and rub it over your sunburnt skin. Keep the ice cube rolling around the sunburn until the ice cube melts. I need to warn you, the ice cube will burn a little bit, but trust me, it will help. Take another ice cube and do the same thing. Now take the towel and tab up the water from the sunburn. Do not rub roughly, you need to use a lot of care when tabbing up the water so you don't irritate the skin even more. Now take the aloe vera gel and gentley massage it onto the sunburn. Be very gentle, that is the key! You will notice that the aloe vera doesn't feel cold. Why? Because your skin has already felt the much colder ice. In fact, the gel might even feel a little warm.

When you start peeling, don't pick on it! Keep massaging the gel into the peeling skin. But don't bother with the ice when you start peeling!

Good luck!

Wet a rag with vinegar. It will take away the sting. Also drink los of H2o, to rehydrate the epidermis. Also aloe vera helps the same as vinegar.

Yeah, like the Sixx man implies above, it's all about gettin' past the pain fast. What I do is jump in a hot shower. Hurts like hell for a few minutes and then, almost nothin'. I preferred that to walking around in pain for two days.

Treat? Yes.

Put cold sour cream on it.
I mean it, dude.

It will sting and all, but it'll feel better.
My dad does this all the time.
