I mean besides having vitamins and a stupid name. My friend gave me a jar to try. It wasn't exactly a Christmas present, but part of it. I like to be very polite about gifts and make positive comments. I just don't know what to say because it doesn't really have any flavour!

Horlicks is an English traditional beverage..and like Lucasade and Lime Cordial and Marmite and Vegemite...its a classical thing and an aquired taste...He was trying to give you something unique a taste of another culture...the ENGLISH one...
Its not for everyone.. tell him you prefer the flavour of Ovaltine..
he will understand...if you say it reminds me of OVALTINE

Well, it has a very amusing name.
It helps you sleep- but some people prefer to masturb---e (read my previous answer on my friend's sister.
Just prattle on and say how wonderful it is or some ********.
I'll give you a fantastic life tip:
People don't really want to know what others think- they simply want to hear what they think, repeated in a different voice.
Now, base everything you say from the above, from now on- watch the major progress you'll make.
It's not lying or cheating or whatever- it's simply being well-mannered (as you seem to be)- greasing the squeaky wheels of social relations.

I haven't had it for a long time. Try mix it with chocolate/cocoa powder and milk. It's like Malt.

you have to mix it with hot water and sweetened milk to bring out its flavour. try mixing it with hot cocoa. YUMMY!
