When we really like someone, our brains pump adrenaline. The adrenaline makes our hearts race very fast. Much of the time, when one is not accustomed to it, the brain identifies the quickened heartbeat as fear and/or panic and responds in much the same way. Our stomachs drop, we cannot move, and it is more difficult to breathe normally. Once you tell yourself that this adrenaline is a good thing (because you like your boyfriend), your brain will adjust to the racing of your heart and realize that it is joy - and a big 'Wow!' - that you are experiencing.
The idea that we will say or do something wrong or silly is a big reason for the anxiety too. A good boyfriend will like you for who you are and find your silly moments 'cute'. Keep reminding yourself that you are a really good, deserving person. It will ease the effects of anxiety. Take deep breaths before you call him, or tell him to hold on a second if you feel panic overwhelming you and stand up, stretch, and breathe. You can tell him your Mom was calling, or you were moving something out of the way. =)
Good luck! Sounds like you've got a very nice guy there.

The most typical answer you'll get is love. Now im not gonna say its all that, because love is different fore everyone, and plus I believe it is what you make it. But its a feeling of joy or happiness, you probably like him so much you get nervous, hoping that you don't do anything weird, or something that'll make him look at you different. Its a stage toward love I would say...

Oh how sweet. I use to get that feeling with certain guys that I was interested in while in Junior high school and in high school and I thought that was a feeling of love.
Funny..........I think I had that feeling with at least 3 guys and of course I am not with any of them today. My now husband use to make me feel that way when we were just dating. Now I get that feeling still, but it is more like marital frustration/anxiety. HA!

If I am not mistake it is a certain sign of Love. Love causes people to do strange things and to feel sort of strange too. Some people react differently to love but I can tell you that you are suffering from a bad case of Love.

You love him! Do you feel butterflies when you think about him? I went through the same thing in the beginning of my relationship.

An extreme case of infatuation. Either that or he has an infectious disease cloud around him and you should run to a hospital right away.
