Submitting to God is no different than submitting to anything else - you do it for your own good. You submit to medical tests to make sure you're not dying of cancer. You submit to the laws of your government so you don't get hauled off and imprisoned. Most like submission to God, however, is submission to your parents and family. Why do you submit to the rules, ideals, and ethics of those who (are supposed to) care about you most?
That's a question I should think should not need answering.

To submit to God is not to become a slave. It is actually to gain true freedom.
There are two Gods in the bible. The almighty God, creator of the heavens and earth; and the devil, the God of this world who is responsible for all the pain, suffering, etc in the world. Everyone is under the devils control on the earth until they submit to God. This is because Adam conferred dominion of the world to the devil. This was the great sin he committed (high treason).
The devil just wants to rule with an iron fist and to dominate everyone. He wants to steal, kill and destroy.
The true God wants everyone saved from that and wants them to live properous and healthy lives full of joy.
To submit to the true God is simply to recognise that he has our best interests at heart and to let him guide (not enslave or boss) us.
Only the devil enslaves, the true God brings freedom.

If you feel that way (not caring about submission to God) that's the same attitude Adam and Eve had and thats why we are enduring so much suffering now. Godly submission just means that we recognize that God is the Universal Sovereign. We suffer now because Satan wanted glory directed to him instead of God and so he deceived Eve into disobeying God and here we are today. So not caring about submitting to God's will is exactly the attitude that Satan wants humans to have. You should learn to care.

If you are not a christian, you don't have to be submitted to christ. You are submitted to whatever else you serve. Whether it be your job, kids, money, sex, wife, etc... We believe that faith in christ is the only way into the Kingdom of God. And we believe that everyone should have the chance to at least hear about it.

Godly submission is to let God come in to your life and help you to be a better person. It is up to you to decide whether or not you believe in God and no christian should ever point their fingures at you and say that you are going to hell in a go cart. God didn't tell them to judge anyone.

Godly submission is for the salvation of your soul. Did you know that you have a soul? Do you know that a person's soul changes depending on your behaviour; being a good person or a bad person? If you should see the state of your soul tonight, would you do something about it.
God does not look only on our flesh, he looks deeper, like into the heart. It is so sad and frightening when you see what we look like through God's eyes. Our whole profile changes completely. Instead of a normal looking person, all of us look like the people that go out trick or treating on halloween night. We look like monsters, some like monkeys, little demons, little devils, spiders, praying mantis on a high horse. It's incredible!
My grandmother was about 85 years old, bedridden, total loss of eyesight, hearing, she did not know who she was; and yet she kept on living. I prayed for her day and night, yet she did not pass away. Her two feet were cut off because of lack of circulation. I got curious and worried. I asked Jesus why all this was happening to my grandma. Why didn't He just take her away to rest there in Heaven. Why leave her to punish this way? We don't believe in pulling the plugs on grandma only because she was old and not responding. So I sat there thinking and praying and talking to Jesus when suddenly it occurred to me. Was it her soul, Jesus? Show me the state of my grandma's soul. I promised that I would pray for her.
That night when I went to sleep, He showed me early in the morning in a vision, the state of my grandma's soul. My sweet little grandma whom I believe was so saintly, who instilled our faith in us was terribly in need of prayers for her soul. Her soul looked like a spider with eight feet. I was so frightened. But thank you Jesus for your abundant mercy, my grandma looks like an angel somewhere up there with you. We offered up masses, prayers for her and gave her communion everyday. When she died, Jesus showed me her soul again. She looked like an angel with a crown on her head and dressed in a long white gown.
And you asked, "What's with Godly submission?"
