Why are you second guessing your own intentions? I would say that yes, you could, but who am I to say.

My resolution is to be more serious. No, I'm kidding.

You CAN do this. My husband and I were fairly popular, good looking people (I'm not gloating, just being honest) and were Christians growing up. We had made the decision to wait for marriage. It was hard, but we did it. We have ONLY been with each other and have been married 8 years. We couldn't be happier and we have the purest relationship full of trust and faithfulness because of this. While dating I had a very hard time believing there was a good looking, good Christian man out there who hadn't had sex before meeting me. In fact, this is why I lost most of my boyfriends. Though I was up front from the begining about my abstinence and they were supposedly Christians too, they eventually pressured me to the point one of us broke it off. But I prayed and was faithful. The Lord delivered and we truly couldn't be happier knowing he put us together. More important than that is the relationship I have with a God I know loves me personally and died for my mistakes so I wouldn't have to. This life is so temporary, what we do here and now affects us for eternity and my husband and I try to remember that in all that we do. We know a God of love that will not tempt us beyond that which we can bear. You can know him too, in one simple prayer, and your fate will forever be sealed, and your life forever changed! If you'd like to know more, I can take you through the Bible and show you very simply how that decision can be made.
You're in my prayers.
