You seem a little worried here by your questions you've posted today.... you do NOT need to lose 30 pounds!

If you are a little chubby [which is OK!] and you feel bad about it, change it - the RIGHT way. Walk instead of getting a ride. Join some sports teams or something - at 12 you have a lot of after school and in school sports you could join. Cut out McDonalds and the night time junk food and no more pop!! Do not do something drastic like diet - you are in puberty and it could screw up your metabolism for life!

By cutting out fast food [or cutting down], no more pop and exercising [sports and walking] you could easy become a beach babe by summer [6 months left!] Just remember that by beach babe I mean beach babe YOUR style. Since everyone is built different and only 2% of the population has the bone structure to look like a barbie, you might not fit in the barbie catagory!

No more than 10lb. Although your BMI is okay, there is the risk that you could become overweight as you start to develop, as you are only a few pounds away from becoming overweight. HTH.
