Sure!
There are many online poker sites that continue to accept US-based real-money players. The Online Casino Gambling Directory is the best place to look to find a current, accurate list of such sites along with the site's free, no-deposit bonus offers and initial deposit bonus offers. Click the link below to be taken directly to the lists.
US players that reside in any of IL, IN, LA, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OR, SD, WA, WI: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=1&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker
US players from all other states have a few more choices available: http://theonlinecasinogamblingdirectory.com/s.php?as_usa=2&SRC=YahooAnswers&t=Poker
I recommend three sites in particular for their nice bonuses, great game selection, and excellent sit-and-go tournaments at all stakes. As of this writing, all of these sites take players from any state in the US (as well as all non-US players, of course).

Millions of U.S. citizens play poker and gamble online every day and not a single one of them has ever been charged, fined or prosecuted. On September 30 2006, a new Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was passed. Does this change anything? The new bill does not make online poker illegal. The bill does not change existing gaming laws. The bill does not touch the players. Many site are still open for US players, go for: FULL TILT, POKER STARS, ABSOLUTE POKER. to deposit use: EPASSEPORTE, WESTERN UNION. NO, Party poker still close for US players.

Just download register and play for even an 1hr free just to make sure you like it! That'ts it. I know the 2006 unlawful gaming act actually did some good because the hardcore scammers are out of business. Places like planetluck, starluck, even intercasino the big ones are down and out. Which just proves to me that they were scammers. What is left after the bomb of the 2006 unlawful gaming act are the companies and businessess off shore and not that were decent to begin with. True it does appear that there is no outlet for you to playm but seek and ye shall find. If you dowload goldentiger register you can try their stuff out for 1hr free, and they have all types of stuff to check out so if you haven't yet give it a shot.

The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA) was signed by G.W. Bush on Friday, the 13th of October, 2006 (seems appropriate doesn't it?). This law DOES NOT make it illegal to play poker online; however, it does make it illegal for people/companies to engage in the "business of betting or wagering." This definition applies to the operators of online poker rooms.
As a result, many online poker rooms, such as Party Poker and Pacific Poker, left the U.S. market for various reasons. For one, these are publicly-traded companies, and they needed to make a decision that was in their shareholders' and executives' best interests. There is a risk that an online poker executive could be arrested in the United States for violating the UIGEA, even if they reside and/or operate outside of the United States. Most highly-paid CEOs are not willing to take such a risk.
Another problem with the UIGEA is that there is a strong possibility that online poker transactions (deposits/withdrawals) will become increasingly difficult in the future. Offshore e-wallets such as Neteller are still accepting U.S. business, and U.S. financial instituations are still doing business with Neteller, but things might change in 2007. Regardless, there are still many online poker rooms who welcome U.S. players with open arms, such as Absolute Poker, Full Tilt Poker and UltimateBet, just to name a few. In addition, these poker rooms have vowed to find a way to make customer transactions as quick and painless as possible, no matter what happens, so things are still looking good.
If you're looking for a new online poker room to play at, I strongly encourage you to check out the rakeback affiliate directory at RakeBreakers. There, you will be able to find online poker rooms that are still welcoming U.S. business, as well as sign up for these rooms under a reputable "rakeback" affiliate.
"Rakeback" affiliates get paid a commission from the online poker room based upon the rake you pay for the life of your play. In turn, these affiliates transfer a significant portion of their commission back to you on a monthly basis. The industry average is around 30%, and this can add up to a lot of money in your pocket at the end of the month. I personally receive $3,000 to $5,000 a month in rakeback alone, playing 70,000+ hands of $3/$6 limit hold'em. I know that's a lot of hands, but no matter how many hands you play or what stakes you play at, rakeback is essentially free money and you should not be playing without it.
