Vodka is saposed to be oderless and tasteless, and for the most part good top shelf vodka is. So the answer would really be what you like to drink most, Water, Soda, or Juice. Personaly I think Orange Juice masks the taste of bad vodka best and it is healthier that sodas. I have never seen anyboyd order vodka with water, I can't imagine that would taste good. At times Whiskeys are ordered with water because water is said to bring out the flavors, vodka should have no flavor so stay away from the water.

Personally I cannot take equal proof vodka as well as I can take Whiskey. However, I prefer uncut drinks to mixed drinks. I say drink it straight, if you cannot or don't want to drink it straight then vodka mixes with many thing very well. www.webtender.com is a good site to check for recipes. I'm not familiar with a "pag" but i assume that 4-5 is a significant amount. If so, then you should be able to take at least 3-4 of these pags with the same proof with no problem. I would say that, at least personally, vodka is a little harder to down than whiskey, but I have no problem downing either.

Regardless of the type of alcohol, my general rule is drink it straight and I stick to that rule, unless it's PGA in question.

One mixed drink I recommend is White Russian. One part vodka, one part coffee liquor, and one part milk or cream makes one.

Vodka and water is absolutely delicious.

However, if you are not an avid vodka drinker then I recommend vodka and orange juice. It hides the taste of vodka better than any other mixer. Unlike with rum and whiskey...cola isn't a good mix with vodka. Especially, lower end vodkas. Vodka and cranberry is also an excellent choice.

One last tip, since it is new year's eve soon and no drink is too classy...make a white russian. It is bar none the most delightful vodka drink.

The easiest and most accesible version to make is...
2 ounces Vodka
1 ounce Kahlua
3 ounces milk.

Have a happy new years.

With vodka its kinda hard. There are many different ways that you can mix it with other ingredients.

If you're mixing yourself, or you want something simple, then I suggest my fav: Redbull and vodka (or you can do rockstar and vodka, depends which one you like more). You fill a glass about 2/3, or 3/4 with ice, pour about a shot or two of vodka in there, and then the rest with red bull. stir gently, drink up.

or you go with a straight up vodka shot.

if you do choose to drink vodka, I suggest a good meal beforehand full of meaty or greasy stuff (so no salads --> personal experience), that way you'll last longer. And even top shelf vodka can be s**t, so go on friends' recommendations. personally i like stoli, its very versatile and affordable.

I always preferred straight up, but if the taste is hard to swallow, ask for a screwdriver. This is a shot of vodka with orange juice.

As for comparison with whiskey, I have always been hit harder by absolute versus glenfidich. But that is just me. The taste of vodka is easier than any scotch or Bourbon.

Vodka is one of those that goes with just about everything but I think juice is likely the no 1 mix...you like sweet then use orange juice, if you prefer less sweet try tomato juice or clamato juice. Add extras (like seasoning salt, etc as you prefer.

I love vodka and cranberry (cape cod) or vodka, cranberry, and triple sec (cosmopolitan). Vodka and orange juice (screwdriver). Vodka, kahlua, and milk or cream is also really good, (White Russian). Don't know he alcohol content of your whiskey, but I would think you could drink more vodka than whiskey.

you could no longer spot it noticeably. in spite of the undeniable fact that no count if it relatively is blended with soda, the drink has a tendency to lose it is carbonation no count if it relatively is blended with alcohol. additionally, i do no longer think you will get under the impact of alcohol from a pair sips of a vodka drink, yet i visit commend you on your morals in no longer eating on an identical time as pregnant.

My husband likes to put vodka in mountain dew. I like it with cosmopolitan mix you can buy at a grocery store, and then add a splash of siera mist or sprite. Happy New Years!!!
