I am a "legalized citizen" (not from Mexico) I love my culture, But the only flag that will fly in my house is the American Flag. What right do "illegal aliens" have to demand medical insurance and education when their alligence is with mexico! I honestly hate that! especially the fact that some people have been living here for many years and still do not speak ENGLISH! Wake up America!
They do not love America, or even like america. They think Mexico is the greatest... WHY SHOULD THEY STILL BE ALLOWED HERE!!!!

caysdaddy: As a naturalized citizen You swear an oath to America. America is the country that protects you. I am of Filipino heritage, but I was born in Africa. Let me tell you that if I was to be thrown in jail or if something were to happen to me in a foreign country, the only country that would come to my rescue would be AMERICA! By becoming an American citizen you put your loyalty to America.
Quote: "A man who waves two flags has loyalty to no nation"
I am not saying, to not care about your heritage. That is what makes America great. But you and everyone else needs to realized that by waving another flag, You put into vain what the soldiers and what "our" forefathers have done. I believe that no other flag should be flown unless it is below the American flag, in AMERICA. I would never wave an American Flag in another country because that will be disrespectful. We are guest in that country And in this country guest and illegals should not wave their flags either. GOD BLESS AMERICA

They should not be here in my opinion. They are not the kind of citizens that this country was built on. You are the kind of citizen that should be encouraged to come here! You are the kind we want. The same kind that came to Ellis Island ! The kind that had an awe of our great land and what it represented. The kind pouring in over our borders has no respect for the law of this country. They are a burden to the taxpayer because of the free benefits they get. Things like section 8 housing, WIC, food stamps, medicaid, free education. Our taxes have gone over the top in Texas because of the masses of illegals on our doorstep that we have to educate. They refuse to speak English and so the schools have to bring in Spanish speaking teachers. The schools are overcrowded and the quality of education has gone down for our children.
There is also a serious threat to national security to consider because the INS does not know who is in our country. There is a problem with increased violence and we have to pay to jail these people....more tax money!
We really need to crack down on this illegal immigration problem now before it is too late. I don't know why our borders were not closed a long time ago! These people have no respect for our country or people or else they would go back home and come over legally! I say that the last thing any illegal should get for free is a ride back home! Send them home! God bless those that choose to come over and make our country even greater by doing it legally! I love our diversity as a nation! I really think it is what makes us great! But no American should have to put up with illegals thumbing their noses at our laws and robbing our system!

I'm a naturalized US citizen and I love my culture, but I wouldn't wave any other flag but the American flag, that is what I agreed to when I moved here. I wanted to be part of this great country, I was largely educated here, I understand this country's history, and the founding fathers must have been aliens from the future to have the kind of foresight they did. America has been good to me, and I have been good to it. Why would you come here and protest and say your native country is best and break it's laws in coming here, mooching off the system, and then waving your flag and demanding rights? That's insane, and an unforgivable offense, shame on the illegals for all they have done to lessen the quality of life for all Americans. Education begins with self-examination, and a willingness to be humbled.

It's all political..the rich business owners don't want them to leave because the cheap labor would leave too. I'm not so sure that all Mexicans think that Mexico is the greatest, if they would still be there. If I was totally broke, living in a country with a collapsed economy, I would probably do the same thing, my family well being would come first.
But on the other hand there is a reason why they're called illegal aliens. I personally don't see why, besides the cheap labor, there is even a debate on this subject. If I was doing something illegal, I would be punished, and so should the illegals. But, like it or not, they have become an integral part of this society. How many Americans would support our economy by doing undesirable, or difficult jobs for little pay?

I have to disagree with you on that one. I'm Korean, but became a naturalized US citizen when I was 4-years old. But I still fly a Korean flag. And I have a Korean flag sticker on my car. I care about my heritage and where I came from. I may not remember it because I was so young when I came to the US, but it's who I am. Why shouldn't the Mexicans be proud of where they came?
However, I do agree that illegal immigrants do NOT have the right to DEMAND medical insurance or an education. When you are not a citizen of a particular country, you technically have no rights granted to the citizens of that country. That the US government offers those things freely to non-citizens, that is the free-will choice of our government to do so. I don't necessarily agree with it, but I'm only one vote.
As a matter of human rights, I do believe that emergency medical care should be provided, if needed. I used to work in a hospital, and know how much care is provided as "charity" because of an inability to pay. While about 60% of charity cases came through with a Hispanic surname, and I imagine a good number are illegals (I won't speculate as to a percentage, as I was not privy to their legal status), there were also a good number of Smiths and Joneses who came through for charity as well. It is the sign of a civilized nation that even those who are less-fortunate or not entitled to care can still receive it.

It just shows the disrespect that illegals have towards Americans and American laws!!
Millions of other immigrants came to the US, learned to adapt to the American way of life, learned to speak English and became US Citizens. Why can't illegals from Mexico do the same???? They give a lame excuse how it is a long process, blah, blah, blah. The FACT is that they don't want to become American citizens, they just want to use and abuse American laws and the American system!!

They souldn't be allowed to stay here. They are Illegal. They're breaking the law just by being here, and they are practically being rewarded for it. They get money, they pay no taxes, and they leech off of all of the U.S. citizens. We need to give them all the boot. Throw them back to they're dear precious Mexico that they love so much. If it's so bad there, they should do something to fix it. Not come over here and ruin our great country. They are an extremely ungrateful culture. Even after all the U.S. does for them they still treat it like garbage.
Get your heart in America, or get you butt out.

LEO, you are absolutely correct.. America is a great country but we are TOO LIBERAL and TOO FREE. We must take a stronger stand on what is considered to be unAmerican. Go to Mexico and wave the American flag in the streets of Mexico City. You will be shot. I blame our problems with illegals on our corrupt, vote-seeking politicians.

We should ship all of them back to Mexico.
I agree with you that they should love the U.S., speak English and fly our flag. It is not fair that we working people have to pay for their medical insurance and education. They now are to get social security. Can you believe that?

Besides all of that, it’s stupid. It causes Americans to see them as the enemy rather then a positve influence. The institutional deficiencies that made their lives in Mexico so miserable that they decided to come to the US where even substandard wages are seen as a windfall are so good that they want to turn the US into Mexico? Killing the goose that lays the golden eggs is not too bright.

I agree.
People fly flags to be patriotic.... they want to show their loyalty, respect, and pride. Why would you wave the flag of a country you did not even see fit to live in?
