I debated this question with a fellow co-worker/bible student.
How do we weigh sins?
Which sins are worse?
He said, every sin is a sin, no matter the weight it carries.
Christians are supposed to forgive sins. This is difficult to do.
How can we expect to keep forgiving every rotten sin we see and hear about in these times?
Murder, an "ultimate" sin. I can't forgive that sin.
It disrespects people and their origins. It disrespects their mothers. And yet, I am not a true Christian if I can't forgive ALL sins.
I've never committed murder or hurt anyone.
That doesn't make me a good Christian.
The ability to see evil doing and ask for repentence, that's what a good Christian is all about.
I guess I am not worthy to be called a good Christian.
However, I don't care. I'd rather have a clear conscience than be a good Christian. I can sleep better.

The first and great commandment is to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength. The ultimate sin is to not love God that way. To love something or someone else better then God. It is called idolatry and spiritual adultery and is the greatest sin because it is the disobdeiance to the greatest commandment.
Hell means 'gravedom' or death. The second death is permanent, the first will end at the resurrection of the just and unjust before the judgement. For those born again of God's spirit, there is no second death because they have been forgiven already and will not be judged.
The punishement for those who commit the ultimate sin is the second death from which there is no return. All memory of them having been lost.

Any of the things that you mention done willingly and knowing that they are horrible things deserve punishment if the person does not have any remorse whatsoever. God is all good and will forgive. Hell is not been able to see God for eternity.
the ultimate sin is the sin against the Holy Spirit of God. If you know God and willingly leave him that is the ultimately.

The ultimate sin is having the knowledge of God and then turning away from it. This is called grieving the holy spirit. It is the ultimate sin because you are rejecting Gods only created son Jesus, and you are giving up you life when it could be saved.
Much like a person being held hostage, and your father comes and pays a ransom for you, but you refuse to go back to your family. But that is what most people do.
Very good question. Regarding Hell, God does not have people suffer, try looking up the real meaning of Hell.

All true Christians today are of God's Elect. The worse sin they could commit is the sin against the Holy Spirit. When they are lead up to Satan's church it is their responsibility to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through them. Not allowing it is this sin we are discussing.
Will they commit it. No. True Christians have the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in them. They won't ever give them up.
Those who do not accept God Saviour Jesus Christ as Saviour, will most likely cease to exist in the lake of fire during the White Throne Judgment.><>

So when a lawyer gets to hell, Satan tell him he can pick his punishment and we will spend eternity doing it. Satan shows him 3 doors.
Behind door one a man is placing a pineapple up another mans rectum. Lawyers says oh no not that.
Behind door 2 a room full of demons rips and shreds bodies over and over again.
Behind door 3 several people are standing knee high in dog crap and drinking coffee. Lawyer says ya i like this ill get used to the smell.
So Satan places him in the room, lawyer gets his coffee and drinks for about 5 minutes when a demon walks in and says OK OK breaks over back on your heads.
That is the ultimate hell
Oh ya and worst sin is not finishing a beer your buddy gave you.

The ultimate sin is deliberately refusing to acknowledge the truth by blindly following some dogma. Blindly believing a fairy story like religion when all credible evidence indicates that it is wrong is a sin
No, you won't go to hell for it because hell does not exist.

Blaspheming the Holy Spirit and yes the worst punishment is found in Revelation 20 for Satan, the false prophet and their followers that turn from God.

the worst sin is not believing in God. if someone is honestly regretful and guilty of commiting a sin (as a murder), and they're genuine when they ask for forgiveness, God will forgive them, and they will probably go to heaven. if someone is a good citizen and followed the law, but they never cared for God, they will probably not go to heaven. HOPEFULLY i'm wrong though.. i wish all good people went to heaven, regardless of their religion.. it's a horrible thought that someone would go to hell for not being christian.. =(

The ultimate sin is the one that gives you the most satisfaction.
The ultimate punishment is not being able to do it again.
