i recently did a painted mural on the wall of our hot tub room and its done with acrylics. and obviously there's going to be a lot of moisture on the walls. so what do i use to protect the paint. i was thinking something of a structure gel type of stuff i got at hobby lobby. its kind of like matte medium. so..what do u all think?

The acrylic paint is water proof and fine if you painted it on a dry surface. The wall will absorb moisture and slowly deteriorate, and that is the danger ... I liked your other answer, which said cover it with clear acrylic ... only cover the whole wall with clear A.

That will slow down its decay ... your gel might work too. Try it on a small section first.

Good luck,
