I'm not sure if I'm the right person to answer your question, for the reason i been married for 18 yrs ,but the word nervous and sex i became curious .
You you change partners like panties then i would say yes ,but with your partner ,and someone you love with all your heart ,mind and soul ,then i would say yek nope .I think you are putting to much pressure on something natural and should go with the flow .
there's a song it goes KISS AN ANGEL GOOD MORNING ,AND LOVER LIKE THE DEVIL WHEN YOU GET BACK HOME.
good luck ,and just relax enjoy the moment .

I am a 32 yr old married women and I still get butterflies everytime my husband and I have sex. I get nervous so much that I make him keep the lights off. WE've been married 3 years and I feel like a school girl. Ha ha ha! But it's great every time!!

Everyone is nervous if getting together with a new partner!! After the comfort zone is reached nerves should depart.

Yes, but only because it's been so long. I've gone over a year without sex (but it is part of a resolution, I should mention). I've become shy again. But you know what they say about the shy ones!
