1) calling jesus "lord and savior" is indeed idolotry and in absolute contradiction to the first several commandments.
GOD is "Lord and Savior" and God is not a man. God is God. and to call a person of human form God, IS idolotry.
2) if you don't belive in jesus why would you belive in hell? in Judaism theres no eternal hell, the whole "going to hell" thing as christianity has it, was "invented" with their belief in jesus.
>>"In this hypothetical situation of Jesus NOT being the savior, it would mean that the bible was wrong (because it says he is), and if the bible is wrong, then it all cancels out in my eyes."<<
see, what I don't get is how people can say this. there was the jewish bible, the old testament, the tanach(different names for the same thing.. essentially) and then the new testament was added.
christians will deny things like the book of mormon or the Koran so adamantly, on a basis that would just as reasonably exclude THEIR addition to the book.
>>"Every single religion has a Pascal's Wager to everyone who doesn't believe in them."<<
actually this is untrue as well.
Judaism does NOT have an eternal hell, and does NOT claim to be exclusively correct.
the way Judaism sees it, its like God is at the top of a mountain, and we start at the bottom of the mountain, and have to climb up to the top of the mountain.
that there are various different paths, sometimes the paths share sections, or cross over, or split apart... but there are various paths, and they can all eventually lead to the top of the mountain. (though, some are more or less direct)
>>"or at least the Jews would be."<<
... which we are. the bottom line though is the question of god being able to forgive with or without a sacrifice, and after the temple was destroyed, it was revealed that its not the sacrifice itself that causes the forgiveness, but the REPENTANCE that is in the act of the sacrifice.
sorta like in material, Cain's sacrifice was the best, just as good, if not better than Abel's. but Cain had the wrong intent. its all about the intent.
>>"you do go to hell for worshiping false idols, Jesus was god incarnate, therefore not a false god or idol, Someone has to be right "<<
the IDEA of "god incarnate" IS idolotorous.
to merely believe in him as the son of god(that is in a "he's god and we're not" sense...) , that belief itself, is idolotorous.

It's a fun and funny idea though.. Hm.. Maybe if the Bible was created by the devil, to get you to worship Jesus and the One God, instead of let's say the Hindu Gods, then all those people worshiping Jesus and the Christian God Trio, would just be reborn, because the devil made up the part about going to hell for worshiping false idols (since it's in the bible he wrote and not the Hindu scriptures).. Get it?! good stuff lol

If Christ isn't Lord and Savior, then the question remains what is correct? Islam? Judaism? The hypothetical cuts out with axing Christianity's truth and leaves nothing to base the consequences therein.
None of the above? Okay, then we die, we cease to exist. Ancient Egypt would call that Hell, so either way... by some standard the worst possible fate is the result.

If Christ is not the Son of God then that would make him an Idol without a doubt. The real question is if Christ is not the Lord then do we really know God? Or has God actually revealed himself to us? If Christ is not Lord we do not know God.

you do go to hell for worshiping false idols, Jesus was god incarnate, therefore not a false god or idol, Someone has to be right. Jesus said there is one way to the father and that is through me(JESUS). we do pray to the heavenly father in Jesus name. I think this is where the trinity gets confusing.

Hypotheically, if Jesus wasn't really our Lord and savior, then we would still be under the Law, or at least the Jews would be. He would be considered a false prophet, and we'd be waiting for the messiah. Realistically, he is Lord of Lords!!! Our one and ONLY savior.

_according_to_christianity_ you may. But if christianity isn't the one great truth, where did you get the whole going to hell bit? Some religions don't even have a hell - and you could of course consider the possibility that none of them is right.

That is correct. IF Jesus is NOT who He claimed to be, then we are in BIG TROUBLE! It is by His resurrection that we are assured that He is Lord.
Act 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by [that] man whom he hath ordained; [whereof] he hath given assurance unto all [men], in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Rom 1:4 And declared [to be] the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

Yeah, but that would be kind of ironic because it was God (Who IS also Christ, according to the trinity) established that rule about idols.
