my whole life i have been dedicated to music.. in the past 7 years.. i've learned both guitars and drums.. learned to sing and write music. been on xfactor twice and too many talent shows..
but in the end, is it only a pipe dream ?

i know nothing else besides movies. Film critic is my 2nd choice but they dnt get paid much..

im gonna go to college to study music cos i have nothing else in mind.. because of this 'pipe dream' i have no skills but musical ones..

i am following my dream, but if it doesnt work out.. im screwed..

advice?

Why not branch out into being a music teacher? You have the skills, all you need to be able to do is teach others...

Seriously, we need more music tutors in the world, especially with the guitar, as people like me, really suck at that kind of thing.

There are 2 ways- Either work for Money or work for passion. Since Music is your passion, team with co music lovers & I am sure you would able to make decent money if not millions. Be happy with the fact that there are countless others who had to forego their passion & plunge in the rat race.
