ALWAYS DOES! And in unexpected ways every time. And you also know that it was him that did the answering of the prayer.

Yes, he does. I can't tell you how many times I've had questions about how to handle certain situations or didn't fully understand something and I prayed about it. Then shortly afterward either a publication (usually in the Watchtower and Awake magazines) came out with the exact information I needed, or a talk was given at the Kingdom Hall that explained how to handle just such a situation or made clear the thing I didn't understand.

Additionally, my husband and I were considering making a major move half way across the country. We prayed about it and asked that if it was the right course, that things would go smoothly. It was amaizing how smooth things went! And the move did actually prove to be very spiritually beneficial.

In having prayers answered its important to remember that prayers need to be in harmony with God's will. So if you're praying that you'll get rich, or that something bad will happen to someone you don't like, etc., don't be surprised if it isn't answered.

And sometimes we may sincerely pray for something that isn't out of harmony with God's will and it may seem like our prayers go unanswered. At these times, its important to consider that the answer might simply be NO.

Yes God answers my prayers.

Yes he has answered my prayers, but so far not how I thought he would...........LOL

For instance, I was overwhelmed after the birth of my second child. I had just overcome a serious back injury and prayed that God would fill me up with something. I didn't quite know how to word it to him. Well..................God being the funny guy I believe him to be filled me up with my THIRD CHILD. I said to God, "Is this some kind of a joke?" I was quite frustrated as you can imagine. I can only tell you that my third child has a very calming effect on me when I hold her. She makes this family complete. I am so glad God sent her. So, God does answer my prayers, but in his own way, not mine.

I don't actually believe in God, but I have been very religious in the past and still observe religious friends today. I like the philosophy that God answers it the way he thinks is best. Sometimes this seems like an excuse the make it seem like God is there, but I applaud its outstanding optimism. Everything has a high point. A horrible break up could allow you to meet the love of your life. And illness in the family brings everyone closer together. I think that in that attitude, God is there and existing.

yes he does. the problem is most people keep asking over and over and loose there faith. i ask him and then i wait for a response and then i praise him for answering my prayer regardless if it happend right away or not. i can explain a couple but non believers will say that was luck or this or that. however anyways once at the time of my anniversary we had no money i prayed that we would get something so my wife and i can go out. and sure enough we got a check from our phone company that they owed us 60 dollars. it was just enough to pay for are dinner. another time was my wife had been in so much pain and nothing was helping at all. she was pregnant and fell. she took some pills and nothing. i got home from work and it was on a friday. we had a church meeting to attend that was a district meeting i asked if she had prayed she said not really. we went up and prayed and she was healed. she started to cry and i thought something was wrong she just said know she is thankfull cause her pains were gone. same thing with when i get headaches and i pray and instantly they are gone. all you have to do is pray in faith believing and God will answere. if you asked once you dont have to keep asking but start praising and thanking him.

and i do say that some stuff that i pray for that i dont think got answered when i look back most the stuff was a want and not a need. he will supply all are needs. and some wants. like my wife and i for our aniversary that was more a want. but it was not harmfull and he supplied.

also i prayed to get rid of a addiction i had with video games. was ruining my life. i had 2 kids at the time and a wife. i would get home from work and play that all night tell 10 or 11. and not do much with my family. i tried to stop and got back into it. i prayed one night when i got home for God to help me with my addiction and instantly got an idea to take everything to like game stop. and wear house music and all. so i took it all and got the money back and got nothing but christian cds and a couple dvds like the 10 commandments. and then drove home. were i went was about 30 min away and around a lake. i kid you not the whole time home i saw a rainbow even as i drove around the lake. there was 2 one was a little faded. it got to a point that it was in my rear view mirrow and one faded out and then the other but as soon as it was gone from behind it was off to my side. and in the same place all the way around the lake and then all the way tell i got inside my house. the rainbow that faded came back but i got a huge weight lifted off me and i new i did what God wanted and with his help that i could not do alone. when the faded rainbow came back it reminded me of that footsteps saying. science says a rainbow has to be at this point with the sun behind you and you are seeing a glare or whatever it is. but i was able to see if from every direction. with the sun in front of me and behind me and on the side.

Yes, absolutely, even the ones I've dared not to ask. Jesus is faithful, and in prayer, I can feel Him listening. there are times prayer has been answered with a firm no--others, where doors and circumstnaces all come together to create change in my life. Practical issues are resolved, wisdom given in moments when it is very much needed. Jesus is real, relationship with Him is real, and although some may interpret this as mere hopefullness or self-fulfillilng prophesy, it is not. ;-) God is real....I sure hope you ask Him to introduce himself! Blessings!

God works in mysterious ways. God speaks to us, we just have to learn to listen to his voice, he can speak through the Holy Bible, with the people you know, with an smile, so many ways...
Maybe the prayers we do, humans who believe in God... well, all humans, are not compatible with God's plan to everyone of us, each of us is in God's mind and He has planned a life to us... so if you pray for something and this something is not in God's plan for you, it won't come true. This also applies when you pray for a person who is dying. I recommend in this situations that you pray to God's plan come true. Maybe it's better this person goes to heaven, where there's no pain and it's a better place than earth, where there's no suffering.

Yes. God always answers, whether you are listening is where the hearing part comes in!! Sometimes He'll straight out tell me (and I am beyond sick of people telling me it is my own thoughts...I think I know the difference), other times I have to wait to see the result or the lack there of! It all depends.
