I met my ex-husband online! It worked great for a while and I'm sure our divorce had nothing to do with the fact that we met online. :) Lots of people are doing that these days. It's not that expensive and you can be really careful about what you reveal so that you don't give too much information to a weirdo. I highly recommend it!

I have and even though it didn't work out, it wasn't because of the distance. I think you can make it work as long as one of you is willing to move, but it's definitely possible to fall in love with someone.
You also have to consider that there's such a think as chemistry. Two people might look great together on paper, or in this case, online, but have no spark in real life. It's a gamble, but I think love in general is!

No, not really. Ive known people who have relationships online and it just wasn't healthy. Ive met some online that I had a connection with but it was more of a friendship..that's all I look for online now.

It works if you take it from an online relationship to an in-person relationship. My cousin is engaged to the man she met online. They've been together for more than a year.

I fell in love with an OLD WOMAN, I mean twice my age, I'm 35 and she's 70, she'll be 71 in fact. I met her in a chatroom and NO it didn't work. We broke up more then we were together and we lived five hours apart. I've known her a year. We aren't talking now. She always finds fault with me, it's called "Control". So, it didn't work for me. BUT I did fall in love with her, yes.

My son fell in love with a girl on line from Canada and he was in college in Arkansas. They talked for a long time before meeting and they visited with each other a couple of time. She came down to visit him one Thanksgiving and he brought her to our home (Alabama) to meet us. They were married the following April. Been married ever since (9 Years now) so I would say yes, you can.

Yes but never made it work. My story sucks and you don't want to hear it, trust me. It depends on how it's not working, you need to be more specific.
