I'm hoping for Terry Pratchett's incarnation of Death, or Neil Gaiman's.

No, they do not see "Death" as some kind of personified image of what death is.

One of the most interesting NDE was experienced by a man named Howard Storm. I'm sure you can find it on a web search for that name.

No, I don't think you would see death. Death is not a tangible object. Death is leaving this life to go to the next life. Read Life After Life. I can't remember the Author. But you'll understand better.

Most people report nothing at all, those who have had such 'experiences' tend to report a white light probably due to a lack of oxygen in the brain.

I had one. It makes you want to live more than anything. It made me beg God to help me to live. He did. I have not been the same since that day. Look to God to live.
