I was looking up the Mormon Catholic (latter day saints) religion and had extreme difficulties finding what sect it was.... I went on Wikipedia, Dictionary.com, hyperdictionary.com.... I went to a lot of places yet could not find it....

Along with this could you also provide information about them.... Their beliefs.... customs..... so on and so forth

many things about the lds religion won't be revealed until you belong ......some strange things are that jesus is not divine ..actually the brother of lucifer...they also mix up angels and humans as having sexual relations...angels do not have the ability of sexual reproduction one of the things that lucifer was pissed off about since even animals were given that ability...a distinct number of angels were created by GOD and never change....they also say that adam was an angel,if true he would have no ability to sexually be fruitful & multiply a direct dictum from GOD HIMSELF.....they also infer that there is a mrs.god that GOD has sex with, utterly stupid, and also they will continue to have sex with their on earth wives in heaven all ridiculous....many cults of sorts are driven by an over wheming concern for sexual gratification mostly forgeting that the primary reason for marriage is for sexual fruitfulness----kids....not so with the mormons they took this dictum of fruitfulness as being primary in marriage and this complies with the will of GOD, only JESUS said that multiple wives was not so from the beginning it was allowed by GOD because of the hardness of their hearts,in the beginning there was one man for one woman ,adam & eve,....but to be fair now the mormons declare only one living wife is law....the so called jack mormons still practice polygmany.....it's hardness of heart in practice....but as a great philospher said thats between them and GOD..if you want an in depth book--walk into any mormon temple and they will have it , sometimes they will give it free....to show you that mixing is strange the ancient romans mixed a horse with a man and ended up with a centaur only in myth of course....when islamics are told if they sacrifice themselves blowing up a group of infidels they will immediately have 70 virgins in heaven this is stupid their penis's have also been blown up back on earth and since the mass ressurection hasn't occured ---you see this is ridiculous, it's as though the only thing that could be in heaven for pleasure would be sexual relations----st. paul said when he visited heaven---the eye has seen nor the ear heard what GOD has in store for you....has anybody not seen or heard about sex ?????

As already said, the actually name of the Church is “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints” or LDS for short. Mormon is a term used by others because of the Book of Mormon the church uses. Which is a scriptural history based in the Americas that works with the Bible. Not only would you have a problem looking for Mormons as Catholics but also as a sect. this church is not a sect in the literal since that it branched from another church. It started all on it’s own from scratch with only the bible as a guide at the very beginning (I’ll let you read all about that).

However, today there are sects of the original church that call themselves “Reformed” and/or “Fundamental”. For example, the main church based in Salt Lake City does not practice polygamy anymore; but, fundamentalists groups broken off to continue this practice. Please note that they are not associated with the main church much like Protestants are to Catholics.

Also in your research (as I’m sure your fully aware) you may come across many anti-LDS sites stating what they believe are facts that are not true. If you really want to know more, even if you’re just curious, go to the source and ask questions, I would. Contrary to popular belief, if all you want to do is a little research and nothing more you’re welcome to it with obligation or hassle. Those that say otherwise just had unfortunate bad experiences with members, or just don’t understand. Good luck.

Maybe if you looked them up separately (Mormons & Catholics). They are two different religions. The Mormon faith began in this country no more than a couple of centuries ago. They mainly settled in Utah durring the pioneer days searching for freedom to practice their faith.

Catholics are one of the earliest strands in the Christian faith. They where actually the first. They didn't call themselves Catholics rather sects that dissagreed and began breaking off did. Due to bad politics (like the crusades- orthodox geek church broke off first) or a refusal to comply with tradition by people of power (Henry the 8th's divorce). Also Martin Luther later led his own followers. Etc...

Mormon is a term used to refer to adherents of the Latter Day Saint movement (a group of related religious sects), and most commonly to the movement's original and largest group, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The term is derived from the Book of Mormon, a religious text that Joseph Smith, Jr. said he translated from ancient plates containing a history of the early inhabitants of the Americas that was compiled by a prophet called Mormon. Mormons do not consider themselves to be Protestants and do not recognize themselves as part of any larger branch of Christianity, but do consider themselves Christians

I think I like you.

It's nice to hear that you want to learn.Ignorance kills.
But one thing, it seems you are after religion. But do you know that religion does not really satisfy? WHAT?

With religion we have controversy.
I will recommand you to have time each day to just read for some minutes a book that I know will help you.

THE BIBLE.
It's more important to know God than to move from you one religion to another.

I will be pleased to get in touch with you always.
I am here for you.
