I think it's something to do with my electrical field? Or magnetism? Basically I ruin watches and I get electric shocks off all kind of things. Anyone know why? - maybe I should wear one of those magnetic bracelets or something...!

I used to have this problem when I was younger. I also used to break electrical applainces quite frequently.

I seemed to grow out of it - it hasn't happened for years now.

Purchase an earthing band from Maplin and connect the crocodile clip to the nearest earth ( radiator or water pipe)
Once earthed wear rubber soled shoes.
Repeat three times each day and experience the new calmness. Reduce to two and then one and hopefully you will lead a stress free life without the need for anything.

from what i asked earlier about this in Yahoo Answers, it depends on the temperature and the humidity of where you are. if it is cold and dry where you are at, then this will create more static electricity. static electricity could also be in your body by large amounts because you might be wearing shoes with thick soles and you are rubbing against a lot of things. the thick soles are insulating you from the ground (and from what i understood) and this is not letting the static electricity flow to the ground. you could check my question about this rite here:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=An2.ZtpiPUYmzKYu0Eaojl_sy6IX?qid=20061229222230AA3bq8P

Put a rubber patch (like a bike inner tube repair patch) on the back of your watch, works for me
