i know this question has been asked before, but im getting kind of worried i have had these before, (i have braces, so yeah quite often actually) anyways this one started out normal size and got huge,it started at the inside of my lip close to my gums and now it is soo large it is all the way to the outside of my lip where you can see it even when my mouth is closed, it just keeps growing i cant eat, i can barely brush my teeth which is even more a necessity then usual because of the braces, i dont know what to do how can i make it STOP growing?

I would go to the doctor or the dentist for this one. What usually helps me when I have canker sores is brushing it really hard with your toothbrush-I know it hurts like heck, but it starts to go away after I do that. i've never had braces before, so I don't know what that's like. Also, try gargling warm salt water, just get a glass of warm water, add some salt and swish. That helps too. If it keeps getting bigger, I'd go to the doctor.

there's not much you can do to stop it..but you can stop the hurting...do the braces touch the canker ?? If so, put some dental wax on the braces to isolate them from your sore spots...
There are 2 ways to stop the pain: 1. Have it lasered 2. Put an anesthetic cream on the sore spot.

You're welcome.

By gargling your mouth with salt water,
the mouth ulcers will heal quickly.
I found the homeremedies at

I doubt this will help, but wash your mouth out with a cocktail of Listerine and salt.

go to your doctor and he can use a silver nitrate stick on it to seal it off for you......will burn for just a minute as applied but will feel much better
