you can do what i do
eating before hand helps, but not too much, you don't want to be full (snacks while you're drinking are halfway decent)
alternate drinks
after every alcoholic beer, have something else. water. juice. tomato juice. soda. don't drink two alcoholic drinks in a row.
not only will this be cheaper in the long run, but you'll consume less alcohol and have nearly the same effects, you'll have more control over yourself and your actions, and you will not have a hangover
-------
if anyone laughs at you for drinking something nonalcoholic, which i seriously doubt they would, call them at 5am the next day - just to say hi

This is what I call the mc donald's cure.
You drag your hungover butt to mc donald's (or just sucker someone into getting it for you)
When you get there, purchase a double cheeseburger meal, with a coca cola. You eat the burger and fries, drink the soda.
Let it digest a little and lay down for a nap.(if u have time).
U will wake up feeling a whole lot better. It helps even if u get just a short 20 min. quickie nap.
Here is the catch though.
1. It has to be mc donald's, not any other place's burger.
2. U have to order a regular coca cola. I know people who work at mc donald's and they agree the regular coca cola is the key to the whole hangover but i still eat the food, i think it helps.
3. Order a large soda if u can.
Try it, (on monday morning lol) u won't believe the difference.

Drink water and take some type of pain killer. It is too late now. Usually hangover's are caused by dehydration. So plenty of water will rehydrate you. For future reference before you go to bed after a long night of drinking you can drink lots of water. You will wake up with an over whelming urge to use the bathroom in the morning but you will not have a hangover.

Eat something substantial before you start drinking. Nothing greasy or spicy. Don't start drinking right after eating. Wait at least an hour. Don't mix drinks, stick to one type of alcohol. Of course try not to drink too much. When you are finished drinking take one aspirin, not two, just one and go to bed. Maybe eat something light before going to bed. In the morning if you feel fuzzy have either coffee or tea and some juice and eat a little something. Brush your teeth, take a shower and get on with your day. Good Luck and Happy New Year!

Hey! Take care....
The most common symptoms of a hangover are headache, nausea, thirst, tiredness, dizziness, and upset stomach - either singly or in combination.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no quick cure for a hangove. Drinking coffee or taking aspirin might exacerbate an upset stomach, although acetaminophen help, while the "hair of the dog" merely delays the reaction.
The best treatment is to relax, take acetaminophen for a headache, and drink plenty of nonalcoholic liquid.
Happy Holidays!

If it was the first time drinking the particular alcohol/beer, you could have had an allergic reaction. Hops are infamous for causing horrific hangovers, due to many people being allergic.
Eat meat and potatoes before going out and drinking....eat mexican and drink milk following a night out....it used to help me....
The hangovers won....I quit drinking -

French Onion Soup
I had so much to drink at my christmas party it was insane. So the next morning I woke up in the office and an older coworker who used to be a waitress in a bar gave us all French Onion Soup.
Scientifically, I cannot explain it. But in well over 30 minutes I felt amazing despite feeling like I got shot in the head 30 minutes ago.

Always make sure you have a good meal before you drink. Drinking on an empty stomach is no good. And drink plenty of water before during and after a night of drinking.

Hangovers are the direct result of dehydration. Drink more water and you will be fine.
