I hate to say it, but honestly, most girls do consider it. They tend to be attracted to a guy that is taller than them. And then most are attracted to guys that are just plain tall (6ft+).
Not everyone is like that though, I'm not. I don't think feelings or even attraction should be based on such a silly, small factor. It really does not matter how tall a guy is. And one girl said she likes to feel protected, but a guy that is 5'5 can be as strong as one that is 6 feet tall. So, I myself, think height is a silly thing to care about.
My boyfriend is only 5'4, and I doubt he will grow.. (he is 22), but I love him to death, think he is incredibly attractive, and I always feel safe with him. He wouldn't be any more or less attractive if he were taller. Height doesn't matter to me, and some other girls I'm sure. But to most girls, yes.
Have a nice night, and if a girl cares about your height, I bet she isn't worth it anyway. I am sure you are perfect as you are. :)

No. Not an issue. I'm 5'8", so I end up being taller than many of the men I've dated. I think the shortest guy I ever dated was about 5'3".
Height isn't as important as honesty, compassion, interesting, politically liberal or a socialist, in good shape, great in the sack, and totally into me!!!! :)

I prefer shorter guys, I don't totally judge a guy by height, but for some reason I prefer shorter guys. It seems to me that most of the shorter guys tend to be nicer since they have gone through more bullying than tall guys. My boyfriend is WAY shorter than me, and he comes to like my shoulder so he makes me feel tall and not short like some guys would.

Height doesn't bother me. I guess I've gotten used to most guys being shorter seeing that I'm 6 feet tall

I could care less, height isn't important to me. Yet it is to majority of the gals, like wtf is up with the "Guys have to be taller, and older than the gal" bullshit.
There's enough things about a person to be shallow about, why care so much about the height. It doesn't make the guy a less of a person.
But, I'm short myself. so maybe that's why I don't care.

Yes it is true. I think it is actually something biologically implanted in us - as bad as it sounds tall strong man good for hunting for cave woman.
You read all the time about how babies stare longer at so called "attractive" people. I think it the same with height for a man....
So THEN why aren't men attracted to women as much who have good childbearing wider hips?? :P

It shouldn't matter, but yet a lot of girls do. It's the whole principle, the guy has got to be manly, and I guess it would be odd to think that if he is shorter than you. I don't have that problem. I'm 5'2, anyone I date is taller than me.

In the past, I have dated men who are my height or taller. My current sweetheart is a little taller than me.

I could care less about how tall a guy is. If he's cute, he's cute no matter what his height is. I'd date him!
