Don't knock the lack of contact my friend for it is said that you can speak to Big G and that's OK but if he speaks back then they come a lock you up.

I am a Christian and God speaks to me through my conscious. I am able to hear Him when I am in a quite place such as a walk in the woods or time in the bath. Sometimes when I am deep in prayer I hear Him. Also Jesus was from Isreal, and they are not black people, more of an olive colour.

Hit the spell-check next time. I do.
God does not appear to people. He does not tell things to the Pope or people high up in the church. Catholics do not believe that, if that is your point. The Holy Spirit guides the Pope in his decisions, but that is what all Christians count on.
Peace!
added on: Gads, I knew you were a bogus post. I mean there's the spell check RIGHT UP THERE to the blasted right!

God spoke to Israel and it scared them. Then God spoke to His Prophet to reveal to the people.
The 10 commandments were spoken first from God to Israel, but they didn't want to hear God because God scared them.
Jesus Came to show us the way. We can boldly come before the throne of Grace in time of need, because we are born of God. We are the children of God. Once we truly asked Jesus into our hearts: repenting for not believing in Him or rebelling against Him, confessing Jesus Christ Lord and believing in our heart the Atonement for sins and Resurrection, we get saved. We are born again, cleansed by His blood, joint heirs with Jesus as we travel this sod, we are part of the family, the family of God. We inherit Gods Kingdom and everlasting life.
With that we are given the Holy Spirit, sealed unto the day of redemption. We should pray in the Spirit and in Truth first thing every morning to start our day in Christ and follow Gods direction throughout the day. God will speak to you, but you have to listen. Be still and know God Is God. Wait on Him.
He tells us to cast all our cares on Him for He cares for us. Learn of Him by reading the Bible every day, as the Lord directs. God has directed me and the last times it is the book of Ephesians, and had to read it again a few times. But Ephesians is a good Book. Before that it is the book of John, 1-3 John & Revelation.
You should read a personal letter from Father God, http://www.fathersloveletter.com It is scriptural and true. I believe the voice in the audio is inspired of the Father God and can give you an idea how the Father God sounds to the person reading them.

God speaks to us in so many ways and means. At times thru other people or events in our lives. We just have to be open to His communication to us. How would "you" communicate to other people, if you were asked? Probably in a manner, medium and language that the recipient would clearly understand right? God is Divine Love and perfect good. . .to start with. . .you can probably tune to "His frequency" first to get a clear line of communication. If you're not tuned to His frequency . . .you might get distorted messages or worse get messages from "others" including your own imagination or interpretation of things and mistake it for "His" messages. Keep the line of communication clean and free of distractions. He speaks thru our hearts. we're all special to Him individually. Seek and Ye shall find

Keep seeking and talking to him. He says in the Bible, draw near to me and I will draw near to you. God speaks to me all the time. It could be that you don't recognize his voice fully yet. Keep praying and talking and most importantly worshiping. Worship when you're alone. He showers you with his love and peace, it's truely amazing. Have you accepted Jesus? Is there some sin that is holding you back from being really close to God right now?

God still speaks to people... but we have to seek Him... one on one... not thru any other person.. but by spending time reading His Word (the Bible) to get to know about Him and how to build that relationship with Him. No person is 'higher' in rating than anyone else on earth...

The Holy Spirit was not on the earth in the time of the OT and now He is. God spoke to them directly or through prophets. Now the Holy Spirit speaks to our spirits.

As a child in Sunday school, I used to close my eyes and say"Please speak to me God". He never did but I kept asking him to, and I kept going to church. When I was a teenager, I decided I wanted to study science and it was whilst I was doing this at university, that it became very clear to me why God had never spoken to me ( and it wasn`t because I had done something wrong).
Science explained the Bible to me, and God did not exist. I do not regret having gone to church as a child, because if I had not believed in the first place, I would never have known the real truth (as I see it)

Funny how it stopped right around the time that science advanced far enough to check out the claims huh? Could it be that it got a lot harder to make stuff up?
