This sounds a lot like Walt Whitman. I'm calling you out on plagerism. LOL JUST KIDDING!

Poetry IS a way to show love. I hear Donald Trump hires people to write poems for him so people don't see him as a nasty old witch that eats children after accidentally videotaping myself.

poetry is a way to show love. But still...it depends on how you write the poem and the words you put/write in that poem as well.
What I can say here is that, you should probably do a better poem than this one coz for me,eventhough you may mean love in this poem..it still feels like annoying me esp with these words:
"will marry me
If not can i finish your cheese sandwich" and also "give me a ring and I'll tell you why
cause i hate butterfrlys"

well..i'm just saying~~ ^.-

Poetry was a way to show love maybe hundred years ago or maybe more. Now the trend is to communicate more directly. When you next catch her just tell her 'I love you' and before she can reply tell her you have two tickets for the premier show (or anyother thing that she loves best, you must research) This has worked just fine for me. The girl showed her appreciation by kissing my cheeks which was her closest. By the way she was a film fan and it was the premier show of her favourite hero. Today I have a second place below her (imaginary) film hero.
Best of Luck

Oh gag. I'd break up with a guy that wrote me a poem too. If a guy wrote me a poem (and a few have) it would make me feel icky and I'd be embarrassed for him.

It all depends on the person and the poem. If the person likes poetry then its great but if its not then then you should probably not try. If the poem is good then it will probably work out somehow. Just don't use bad poetry...sorry but that poem was kind cheesy

HAHAHAHAHA!
That was amazing. I would've laughed my *** off! My boyfriend is constantly making up funny **** like that. I absolutely love poetry. It takes time and if you write a poem for someone that you really care about, then it really shows.

I think it's a wonderful poem.
I would marry you.
I hate betterflies too.
You're not good at spelling.
Collectable can be anything you can collect.
Even cheese sandwhiches.
You should write more poems.
You're very good at it.

Next time, resort to reciting love poems that have been published.
