With those statistics your daughter has a BMI of 23.6.
The BMI range for normal weight range is 18.5 to 24.9.
So no, she is not considered overweight, but she is higher on the normal weight range.
She should just take steps to maintain her weight.

Your daughter's BMI (Body Mass Index) is 24.2, which is the 88th percentile. Anything above the 85th percentile puts your child at risk for becoming overweight in adulthood. Although she's in the 88th percentile, she is still below the level that is considered to be overweight for an adult, so if she can maintain her weight into her later teens then she will be within the healthy range.
One caveat about the BMI: it doesn't take "extra" muscle into account. Most bodybuilders would be considered to be overweight based on the BMI. That being said, it still gives you a good idea of how much you should weigh in relation to your height.

No, I don't think so. I'm 16, male, 5'7, 130. When I was 14, I was maybe 5'1 or 5'2, 110, but I was kinda skinny. I wouldn't call her overweight, but you probably don't wanna go any higher.

Pls donot go by the pounds but see the inches .
If her waistline is more than 32'' , then she need to lose some fat around her waist.
This can easily be achieved by walking 40 - 45 mins daily . & cutting dn on sugar and fried stuff for a month & half.

Technically she is close to becoming overweight, although it depends on her frame size and how much muscle she has.
She probably just needs to maintain her current weight or she can lose a few pounds if she wants to.
Healthy weight range for 5ft1 is 98lb to 132lb.
HTH : )

She falls within the BMI or basal Metabolic Index of a Normal Range. You should not be overtly concerned.

Not really. Far from the obese scale. But something to watch though.
Sounds more healthy than fat.
