Of course you can. Watch the documentary Supersize Me and stick with it. Anyway, they spit on your food in those places! Be good to yourself and boycott that crap.

When I was an undegrad I was working full time 6 - 3 and then going to class 5 - 10 every day. I was eating fast food almost daily. It's so easy to drive through the window and have someone else make your food. I changed my habits quickly when I realized I had gained two pant sizes. I would pack a huge cooler of healthy food to eat throughout the day. If I forgot to pack enough then I went into the grocery store and picked up a healthy to go meal. With the self-checkout lanes I was in and out in a flash. Also, I went to 7-11 and bought some of their fresh subs. If your friends suggest fast food then, suggest a restaurant and order something healthy. Good luck!

Perfect? Probably not. Cutting down? Certainly!

It's unrealistic to expect yourself to quit eating fast food cold turkey right after Jan. 1. Everyone has days when they are hassled and need to get somewhere fast and don't have time to prepare a full meal. Quitting eating fast food is a great New Year's resolution, but trying to do it all at one time is going to cause you to quit before the month is out.

First step...watch the documentary "Supersize Me" (yes, even the footage of a gastric bypass surgery). It's made by a guy who went on a 30-day-long diet of only McDonald's food-breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's funny, digusting, and frightening all at the same time, and it put me off fast food for life (ok, it put me off of eating fast food on a regular basis. Sometimes you just gotta eat some fries.)

Second step...well, I'm not a dietitian, but it seems to me like the best way to do it would be to quit eating fast food slowly. For example, eat it only once a week, then once every two weeks, then once a month until you don't feel like eating it anymore. Remember, it's still okay to eat it every once in a while, but not all the time. Instead of grabbing a Big Mac for a fast meal, heat up some soup on the stove, make a sandwich, or get a healthy packaged meal (I've seen some at the grocery store that look like Lunchables, but healthier and for adults). It doesn't have to be fancy, just fast and healthy. Try traditional food from other countries, which tends to be healthier than all that fried American food (hot dogs, fries, chicken-fried steak...)

Good luck!

That's an interesting question and a good goal, the only problem that I would see in my own life is when I'm traveling and then it boils down to what you define as Fast Food, is eating out at a restuarant okay? If so, then what restuarant? Is Olive Garden fast food? Mickey D's is easy but some restuarants that I know could run the razor's edge. Is Subway considered Fast Food?

consuming at McDonalds as quickly as according to week is unlikely to place you at one hundred thirty lbs. Are you consuming nicely different than this? Are you snacking lots? one hundred thirty isn't lots weight, yet at your age, while you're worried approximately your weight, that is going to in basic terms worsen in case you do no longer tackle healthful behavior now. you could consume a cheeseburger at abode, yet use floor turkey, mixture in some chopped parsley, and parmesan (2 table spoons), and onions to flavor the beef, then upload your cheese on ideal. Your cheeseburger would have lots much less energy that McDonald's and additionally you will nonetheless be consuming a cheeseburger. For fries, peel a potato, decrease into 8 enormous wedges, and bake at 375 for 20 minutes. Yummy. For the shake, attempt a tofu smoothie, you get protein and that i swear it tastes such as you're consuming a shake (a million/2 container of tofu, strawberries, banana, and splenda to flavor, in a blender with a handful of ice.

You can do it! I know you can.

Set your goal, write it down, do whatever you can to acheive it.

Follow these few simple steps to go Fast Food FREE!

1. pack your own lunch ( that way you will have your own food ) ( no fastfood for you! )

2. write your goal down ( studies show that when you write down your goals you are more likely to acheive them

3. Find someone who supports you and talk to them about it. If you feel the urge to go to a fast food resturaunt call that person, find another habit, something to replace fast food..... BUT... remember... make sure it is a GOOD habit

Hope this helps :)
Good Luck.

It all depends on you. I am still chubby from my preggie cravings and my daughter is 2 already. For x-mas, I got a gym membership and the monthly dues are enough to keep me going. I have noticed results in just 3 weeks but I go 4 times a week. You have to want it bad enough. If you have health insurance, go see your doc about appetite suppressants. Good Luck!

only if you really really really want to...just because it's all around you doesn't mean they're knockin down your door forcin their food down your throat......I live about 2 blocks from a mcd's...but I stopped goin there because I realized how easy it is to fall into the "trap" of easy eating......seriously, if you want somethin bad enough it's most likely you'll have to take the hard road

best of luck to you ... you probly shouldn't expect yourself to immediately cut it out, give yourself some grace and just focus on bein healthier!

Depends...how much will power do you have? You may have to try cutting back to having it once a week. Try to pack lunches for work/school and carry snacks. This might help!

Good luck!
