Usually, as long as you're not disgusting, if the girl in question simply knows that you like her (not to the point where she'll be freaked out, just enough that she knows you like her) she might start like you, or atleast just the idea of you liking her over time. Try talking to her every once in a while, just in a friendly way. (Also, you could try and quietly stalk her. Just turn up every once in a while where she is, say hello, you know. Just to make sure she doesn't forget you exist, or give her more to think about. As long as you're careful. You don't want to come off too strong.) Of course, if she's more...um...popular with the boys, you really very screwed.
