Extreme heat kills the bacteria, so as long as the meat you put in a crock pot is cooked through, it will have been hot enough in there to kill the bacteria.
Just think of the blood as added iron. Lots of cuisines actually cook and serve blood (black pudding, anyone?). Cooking meat in a crock pot is no grosser than cooking meat in any other conventional way. And it is certainly safe, or else my parents would have succumbed to food poisoning long ago.

it's completely safe if you think about it you cook your roast for 6-8 hour at about 150* or higher basically it's just slowcooking all the blood becomes part of the broth or gravy which i'm sure if you didn't know that the roast had bled a little bit you would still eat it if you tried to take all the blood out of the roast it would have absolutely no flavor and there would be no reason to be a meat eater

If you eat a steam or cook it in a crock pot, the same amount of blood pretty much is going to be consumed.

Crock pots are best to cook anything that needs to be simmered. Nothing that needs immediate boiling or baking. We use the crock pot for everything from stew, soups, to bumbo, jumbalaya, etc. you will like it. The meat is tender and the flavor is great. As far as cleaning, stick in dishwasher. I dont have a dishwasher and I wash it with hot water and dish detergent like the other dishes. Because it simmers it is like boiling and it kills any bacteria. But you wont have to worry about that if you clean your meat.

they are safe because of the "pot" itself, it is made of a thick ceramic, as you may or may not know ceramics can stand up to high temperatures for a long time, thus ensuring that your food gets thouroughly cooked, blood and all, dont worry so much and enjoy your food!

Yes, they are very safe. If it grosses you out then don't use it.
No it's not "bacteria free" hardly anything is free of any bacteria, but it is quite safe.
