I think it depends on how thirsty you are and why you are drinking the water, i.e. if only to satisfy a dry and parched feeling, then the glass of water is half empty since you are so thirsty. But, if you're having to drink the water for something unpleasant like taking medication which requires a full glass of water, then that glass of water seems to take forever to swallow -- and in that instance, the glass of water is half full.

Half full of water and half full of air..makes a completely full glass.
Like the hole in the ground. You can't have a half empty hole, it will always be a 'full' hole.. the same with the water..you will always have a whole amount of water..and the rest will be air, or vacuum.

To me...
If something is poured in, the glass is HALF FULL!
If something is drank out, the glass is HALF EMPTY!
If neither the glass just randomly appeared it would be HALF FULL!

None is right or wrong. Just to test your personality tendencies if you're a negative person (if you chose half-empty) or positive outlook (if you choose half-full)

It depends on if you're happy or sad.
At the moment I'm happy would say it is half full
but if I was sad I would probably say it was half empty
