yes they can turn. however it is there choice to cont. the life style or not. you can try to talk to them but as i said there choice. and pray and God will work with them and hopefully they see the truth. there are scriptures but that is not a good way to go unless they believe in God. and wants to follow Gods Words. then also tell them to pray about it.
same as if someone smokes you cant make them quit they choose that on there own and or with Gods help. you might show them stuff and what not but in the end they make the desicion on there own.
i also said use the Bible but that is if they are wanting to live for God. because if they are not a christian then guess what. to them they are not wrong. and they are not sinning. we as christians say it is a sin cause God says it is and is against it however we are not to judge and we all sin. and someone who does not follow the Bible does not sin to themselves they dont that is.

Actually, homosexuality is a devil spirit possession, not a genetic disorder as some believe. And yes, people can change. They can get rid of the devil spirit and change themselves so that it cannot come back in.
Most who are possessed of this one don't want to change, which is why people believe it cannot be changed.
Are you asking for yourself or someone else? And if yourself and you are genuine, then drop me a line courtesy of Yahoo answers and I'll tell you more about how to get out of this situation.

Homosexuality is clearly a sin. Homosexuals can become heterosexuals buy first acknowledging their homosexuality is sin and repenting (turning away) from their sin and inviting the Spirit of Jesus Christ to renew their minds (being born again). Paul in his letter to the Corinthians wrote how some of them use to be homosexuals, thieves, idolators etc, and he encouraged them to continue to abstain from their former way of life. So the answer is YES, only God thru His Son can change permanently one from a homosexual lifestyle.

I have heard stories of this happening. There is a group called "Exodus," in Toronto, Canada. and I think it is all over North America that helps Gays and Lesbians leave the lifestyle.

No, as much as the Christian right wing wants to think so, you can't make someone "un-gay." It isn't a choice. It's who and what they are. The bible thumpers need to stop obsessing about what other people do in private and get over it.

No, a homosexual cannot turn someone gay just like a left-handed person cannot turn someone else left-handed. Homosexuality is biological and not a choice. There have been studies done on this.

Many have tried, but the best they've generally done is to turn someone asexual (non-sexual), which means basically celibate.
Most who've tried fail miserably, although they diligently try to believe they will change. A number of people who work for the ex-gay movement have actually later come out of the closet...again.

No, you probably can't "cure" homosexuality. It's been tried but it's known these days that trying to cure gayness is like trying to cure white skin or blue eyes or left-handedness.
