Dig one out of a dirt hill. Then try laying some plywood on it. Honestly if you are going to build it you have to build it right or else it will fall apart. Your better off to buy the good wood and sealers you need than to build it with second hand crap and hurt youself. It is possible that you could go to construction sites and see if they are throwing away any materials that you could possibly use for your ramp. They are usually more than happy to give you their waste. Also if you are living in a populated area, make sure it is ok with you neighbors that you build it because if you get nailed for building somthing like that without a permit it can be a hefty hefty fine.

You can often find "scrap wood" at places like Home Depot or Lowe's. They have wood left over from costumers who may have only purchased enough for a project. I would start there first and then buy the pieces that you really can't compromise on the dimensions or size.
