The Tianic faith ( Earth based faith) Allows for homosexuality. There are restrictions as to Marriage and birth rights however. While allowing gays to join in "couples unions" We expect the couple to follow the exact edicts of the faith just as any Married couple would. Gay couples may have and rear children under our belief structure but may Not inject the gay lifestyle or sexuality issues into the children. Children must by law of the Temple discover their own sexuality. The same law applies to faith and path of life. Gay males may not use the Temple or it's Covenant for any dating purposes nor may lesbians. Dating within the Covenant must stay between male and female. (Progeny law has not been altered since 1202 bc) Open showing of affection is not permitted in Temple by anyone no matter the sexuality. No holding hands, kissing, hugging or sexual displays are tolerated during Covenant teaching or disciplines practice by anyone. Homosexuality is understood and defined in the Tianic texts and tolerated under The Laws of the Order. There are more restrictions to gay relationships as apposed to heterosexual relationships. For instance. If a gay person gets AIDS due to sexual activities. The Order will not help with medications or with hospital/hospice care.It is a "you asked for it" view. While the Order wont help most usually the Temple will if the Temple Triad chooses to. Each temple is governed autonomously.
There have been Gay "couple unions" done in the past within the other Temples and Covenants, though I personally have never done one. I have no idea how I personally could deal with it.
Sexuality is a personal issue it belongs to that individual spirit and not to the Temple. We do not interfere with sexual preferences. Even though they might gross this particular Priest out.

I recently did some research on ancient Canaanite religions. There were some male prostitutes, whom I assume were servicing men. I know that's pretty vague, but the end result of our answers is: generally not. Be careful when people list modern Christian denominations as examples. The overwhelming majority of adherents to modern Christians denominations do not accept homosexuality--even if it is tolerated to some degree by some sub-denominations.

The Catholic Church accepts the condition of homosexuality but does not allow its practice.because they are intrinsically disordered. Gay people are called to a life of chastity. - 2357-59, Catechism of the Catholic Church
You might be interested to know that there is a theory going on that St. Paul was gay. Many believe that the thorn on his side is his gay sexuality. If he was indeed gay, St. Paul would easily win hands down as the patron saint of gays. -- Read: Rescuing the Bible from Fundamentalism by John Shelby Spong

What you are looking for is either Unitarianism or Quakers. Both are tolerant of homosexuality, in theory and in practice. The Quakers will provide a more distinctly Christian take on things, while the Unitarians are more oriented toward universal religious principles.

Atheists...agnostics...and I'm positive there's others out there that accept it too. As an atheist it just isn't hard to comprehend the fact that homosexuality is not a choice and not wrong.

It's not religion,
it's the people who
follow the religion.
