O.k. I took the advice on here and told this guy ( that I like) that I don't hate him and the only reason I didn't say yes to the date is cause I was sick, and he said it was o.k. but it's a few weeks later and he just acts wierd around me now. I mean , we use to play around to flirt , but know he doen't even do that! my friend says he still likes me but I don't know ! HELP!!

If you lied, he probably knows it and it hurt his feelings. You can't just lie to make things right, you know. If you like him so much, why don't you ask HIM out? That should go further toward making things right than just lying. After you've rejected him, the pain has already been inflicted unless you suggest another time or something. That's what you SHOULD have done if you were too sick to go out on a date. It takes a lot of courage for a guy to ask a girl out, and when it doesn't work out smoothly it REALLY hurts -- especially if the guy has not done it very much in the past. Good luck!

Just give it some time. Maybe he likes you a LOT and so is acting all nervous, etc. Maybe he is losing interest... that is also a possibility. Just back off, let him initiate contact and see what develops. If he pursues you you'll know he's still interested. Maybe he's busy. It's really early to tell and it could be tons of things that is making him act less interested... don't be too pushy, make yourself unavailable for a while and see what happens. Guys hate needy/clingy girls so just go hang out with your other friends and see what happens. Good luck, and I wouldn't worry too much yet =)

He probable thinks your playing games and is tired.You got to show him that your not and tell him that you really like him and stop acting funny and is he seeing some one else!?! Cause if he is at lease you would feel a little better!

Why don't you ask him out? Make it something casual, so it won't seem like a "date," which will make it easier if he says no. Ask if he'd like to meet for lunch. You could say, "Hey, sorry I was sick last time you wanted to hang out, could I buy you lunch to make up for it?"
