O.K. I'm on my spiritual path and I'm quite advanced. Advanced enough to be running out of books and gurus (that I can afford anyway). So, I think I'm ready. I think JC and I could have some wonderful conversations and I'd be delighted and honored to sit and chat with him over coffee.

How many of you feel you'd be ready tomorrow to meet JC in person? Be honest now! Really, are you ready?

Please, this is an honest question. I'd really like to know.

I can't imagine meeting Jesus since I am an atheist. However if I do meet JC or St Peter at the pearly gates I will not be worried. I do not think they care at all how much you believe in them, it is such a paltry concern. I think they care only about how much good you do other people while on earth. (is this why i spend so much time on yahoo answers?).

If God really cares to ask me why I didn't believe in her I would say "not enough evidence I'm afraid".

I don't ever feel a question is completely honest when it starts with "I'm quite advanced". I've never met an advanced soul that thought so of themselves.

Anyway, if I saw Jesus tomorrow, I'd like to ask a number of questions.

Bet your bottom dollar. Put my trust in G-d's plan of Salvation over 38 years ago, and have a wonderful sweetheart of a daughter who follows in my footsteps because I went to the Institute in Basic Life Principles (then it was Basic Youth Concepts) and learned about how an immoral woman develops. I do know that His return is soon, and I am posting on as many questions as possible what I understand about things regarding salvation.

I'd be ready now but you should know if so far along on your path that you only have now. Tomorrow I may see something that enrages me and makes me think evilly toward someone at just the moment the trumpet sounds. One day at a time.

Yeah, man. I'd be like, "Wassup, Jesus?" and we'd do our secret handshake. Then we'd both co-star in a sitcom called "Jesus." The themesong would go just like the Martin! themesong, but with Jesus. Then when all was going well and our careers were on track, we'd just kick it at home, have a few brews, go to work a couple of times a week to do shows, and bring home the occasional fan girl. Oh yeah. [nods approvingly]

I have confessed Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior so have met JC in person. Honestly.

But to be ready for the rapture by having the oil in lamp full, by praying in the spirit and receiving Gods anointing starting first thing in the morning.

You can meet JC right now. Confess Jesus Christ your Lord and believe in your heart that He raised from the dead. That He shed his own blood for the remission for your sins.

Ask Jesus into your heart. God looks at your heart and He knows when you honestly have faith in Him. Jesus makes a way to the Heavenly Father through faith in His atonement and the gift of the Holy Spirit. Once you are born again, reborn spiritually, you can converse with your Father God or Jesus Christ 24/7 by praying to God in Spirit (anointing) and Truth (honest to God from your heart).

I am going to heaven. However, I have not probably lived the way Jesus wanted me to. I would like to honor him more before I see him. I am not trying to be perfect, but I definately have room to improve, have more things I should be doing.....
Good question by the way.
