Mix baking soda and lemon juice and brush it on your teeth. It really does work very well.

I don't recommend using lemon juice or vinegar AT ALL! They're very acidic and will wear away the enamel of your teeth, causing you major problems in the future.
The cheapest way to whiten your teeth is dip your tooth brush in undiluted peroxide and brush with it twice a day for 7 days. You'll notice a difference and it only cost about .99 cents.
The BEST way (outside of having it done by a dentist) is invest in a over the counter tooth whitening system such as Crest White Strips or invest $5.00 in a good brand of whitening toothpaste and use it every day. It will take a week or two but you will see a big difference in the color of your teeth.

Baking soda is a natural whitener, but it's not that effective and it tastes like licking the bathroom floor (so I have heard). I have tried those crest whitening strips and they actually do work well. I am concerned about my teeth being really white too, and I have to recommend them. They are pricey but they do work. The only thing is they make your teeth really sensitive to hot and cold while you use them, and you are looking at dropping 25-40 dollars. I thought it mad about the cost but it was worth it, I got a ton of complements.

Brush with baking soda and peroxide mixture. It tastes nasty but it will whiten your teeth some. Don't use it for more than a few days at a time. If you are willing to invest some money, Rembrandt whitening toothpaste works as do whitening strips but they cost even more that the toothpaste. The more time and money you are willing to invest, the better the results are likely to be.

Dear Sister
Most teeth cleaning programs or processes require time and money. Talk to your dentist the next time you have a check-up and a cleaning and ask that very question. I believe she or he will have some solid information on at-home cleanings, some maybe rather cheap!!

do a pre-rinse before you brush your teeth with a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and water. the water dilutes it, but the peroxide has a bleaching effect. cheap and easy!
