This girl asked me out. I didn't know her that well besides the fact the she is my boss. She stood me up, and the next day when I went to work I was fired. I was told the reason was that I stood the boss up on our date. Apparently she was at O'Charlies and I was at Pondarosa. I told my kids that they were going to meet their new mommy , and now they are mad at me. Should I move to another providence and leave my kids behind?

I don't see why your kids are mad at you. If anybody has a right to be mad its you. At them. For being kids.
If you keep getting pushed around by your boss, you're not going to make it in the business world. The key to making it to the top of the ladder is to lie, lie and lie some more. First tell your boss that the date was at O'Charlies and that she must have forgotten about it because of all of the sexual harrassment she threw at you. Second, sue her for sexual harrassment. If all goes well, you should be the next boss by next Christmas.

A.) you shouldn't have agreed to go out with your boss! But, since that's too late, I can understand the misunderstanding, but for her to fire you? I don't think that's legal (I'd check with an atty.). As for the kids, well, you're sorta vague. First off, how old are the kids? Secondly, why would you have told them you're meeting their "new mommy" for a woman that you don't know that well? (Shoot, I don't plan on telling my daughter about my dating unless it's serious! Spare the drama if ya know what I mean.) Anyways, since that's too late also, depending on the ages of the kids, if they're younger, they'll be more understanding. I wouldn't say necessarily move out to another providence. And I certainly wouldn't suggest leaving the kids behind, especially if you're either close to them or trying to bond with them! I say stick it out with the kids, but get a new job (and be wiser all for it!) but you can do what YOU feel is right.

No, you shouldn't move away and leave your kids behind! They are your kids and they are relying on you. Why did you ask out your boss? I'm sure you know that no good could have come from that!? Do you have a bar tab or something from Pondarosa that you can use as evidence of your good effort? Is your boss someone who you can reason with? Dude, this is a tough one...

Good luck

first of all why would you tell your kids they are going to have or meet a new mommy if you barely know the woman! that behavior is not healthy for the kids. another thing ,you dont leave your kids behind just because they are mad at you. what is wrong with you.

Are you completely nuts? nevermind, ofcourse you are. First you can't be fired for that, it is sexual harrassment, second your children are the most important people in your life even if they would be better off without you. Next you don't tell kids stuff like that in the beginning of any relationship.

purchase soya candles - they turn to liquid and burn cleanly devoid of the black smoke and disperse the heady scent properly. as quickly as you extinguish a soya candle, the "wax" hardens lower back and you haven't any longer have been given any issues of candles burning down the centre too speedy and drowning the wick.

Talk to your boss, and talk to your kids. If talking to your boss doesn't work, bring it to court. It's illegal for her to fire you for that reason. DO NOT leave your kids. Trust me.

Ummm . . . are you for real? If so, I think you could have fixed things by simply saying that you were at a different restaurant. Good night!
