ok i like this guy and have liked him for like 5 years, i know pathetic... we have dated twice for a couple months at a time... once in march-april of 2005 and again may-june of 2006... i told him i liked him again/still a couple months ago, and he just told me, a couple weeks ago, that he doesnt think that he likes me... but he acts like he does... we are both in college... he is in Rhode Island and i am in Maine, so we are about 6 hours apart, but he acts like he still likes me... i'm so confused and i just wish he would make up his mind... is there anything that i can do to get him to make a clear decision??? cause it really bugs me not knowing if he likes me or not... cause if he doesn't, i want to know so that i can work on trying to move on... i just need help, or maybe he does...

Hi Storm. It seems this guy is confused, as are you. It does appear that he likes you, but that isn't the issue. 5 years is a long time to waste hoping for a relationship, and getting nowhere.
Unfortunately, the only way I can see to motivating him into making a clear decision, is for you to move on. And I don't mean a half-hearted attempt at moving on, I mean you really must move on. If he does want to have a relationship with you, he will come running. If he doesn't he will let you go. It is as simple as that.
