your sinuses are probably inflamed from the cold, therefore the sinuses are filled and stuffy causing the head pain.

This is normal. It happens to a lot of people because its putting pressure on their clogged head.

go to a doctor and check your sinusess. You have some nasal congestion which isn't mucus. It could be cronic.
