I just gave blood today & while I was waiting I heard people talking about how they were going to drink this weekend since they'll get drunk faster after giving blood...so will I really get drunk faster? I usually get drunk really quickly anyways, & I just want to know....

Just make sure you drink vodka and orange juice

actually YES ! you will get drunk quicker. Honestly , its not a good thing to drink alot after giving blood, your body is weaker from the fewer reds (red bloodcells). Anyway, less reds means less oxygen, so hence the alcohol you drink will inebriate you a little bit faster.

NOT A GOOD IDEA. You will probably feel the effect more. You are suppose to drink lots of liquids after giving blood, but not alcoholic. Alcohol will further dehydrate your system. I
