Given that you are in an unhealthy relationship, is it possible for your significant other to change in merely a month? Is it possible for anyone to change significant personality traits in a month?

Actually, it takes 90 days to break a habit and that's only if you are consistent. People can change - but it takes longer than a month. It depends on the personality traits. Sometimes you have to live with some bad stuff. My husband does stuff that I hate - but when I remind him - he tries for a week or two, then forgets again!

One thing I have recently learned for myself: men only change if they want to.

Why are you giving a one-month time frame? A person can change certain aspects of themselves in different amounts of time... it took my ex almost a year to realize how crappy he treated me during our relationship but we had no contact since April. I'm not sure what you're expecting of your bf. He'll change only if he wants to.
