I own one a 2005 4 dr Sport with a 3.7 V6 Automatic and 4X4. Yes the mileage is a bit on the low side but you can go on line to see the many upgrades to get better HP and performance. The Ford Escape is nice with a V6 3.0 and the Limited is very nicely appointed. It's up to you sweetie, just go on line to get a handle on what there is to offer, check e-bay,Craig's list too to see what the going price for a good used one. Best of luck to ya and Happy New Year too!!

ok the liberties arn't horrible they just are not as worthy of the Jeep name any 4.0 cherokee will drive circles around one in normal driving and off road even a 2.5 4cyl cherokee will out perform it in the real world; but it rides cushey and is more nimble when cornering. i guess that makes it an ok snow CAR for the croissant eating bottled water set.[they have been rock reliable for our sherriff's dept. but even they are still holding on to their last cherokee]
