Is there a way to program a normal remote control to a comcast on demand box?

I have lost my comcast on demand remote control that came with it. I was wondering if there is a way to program a normal remote control to the box and how. Thanks

Without the original remote, you are going to have a difficult time to get full operations with a standard universal remote. But, you can get another remote from Comcast or invest in a Logitech Harmony Remote. They have the Motorola DVR in their device database, among 100's of other devices.
